How old were you when you realised
That the world is unfair?
That some of us get treated better
for having the right skin complexion?
That some of us are worshipped and prayed for
for being born out of the right womb?
That some of us will get scholarships
and others will barely learn how to read
for having the right words on our identity cards?

How angry were you when you realised all this?
How relieved were you when you found out
That injustice was done in your favour?

Clad in metal armour, she
Marched out ahead of serried ranks
Red hair agleam amidst the spree
The flames of Love declare their thanks
As they devour the darkened ruins
With Hope smashed up against the wall
An avatar of Love’s dark brewings,
Her sword declares her final call:
“You may deny your feelings now
But Love will ever mark your brow.”

Perhatikan mata mereka 
Melirik meluru pada setiap kegebuan
Memburu darah muda
Menuntut desah mesra kenakalan

Perlahankan derap nafsumu
Masamu entah tinggal berapa lama
Insafkan sisa hayatmu
Bakinya hanya berapa tahun cuma

Tinggalkan medan buru itu
Padang terbentang sabar menunggu.
